Bluebell found his forever home!

Bluebell, a pit bull, was rescued from deplorable conditions. From the wire cage in which he was stuffed, this poor animal suffered unbearable mistreatment. He was covered in bite marks so we suspected he was used for fighting. He was fully vetted and neutered and his wounds healed nicely. Despite previous mistreatment he absolutely loves people, adults and children. However, he is aggressive with dogs or other animals. Thanks to a donor, we were able to send Bluebell to training with Brian Pruitt of Puerto Rico Pit Bull River Rescue on the main island.  Bluebell made great progress, but his aggressiveness precluded him being adopted. He is now spending his years in a loving pit bull sanctuary on the main island.
