Due to difficulty of access to the Sanctuary property.
However, we are looking for foster homes for dogs and cats. If you are visiting the island, returning to the States, and willing to transport an animal, we may be able to match you one of our recues going to its forever home. Please text 787-435-4306 or email info@viaspr.org.
In the future, we anticipate starting a volunteer program to help feed and care for the Sanctuary’s cats, dogs, and horses. Projects will range from short to long-term commitments from helping to clear invasive plants and property maintenance to feeding and caring for the animals on a daily basis. Watch this space for future volunteer opportunities.
