Nala aka Pretty Girl

A kind lady saw a 6-month old kitten dragging a damaged leg behind it in her church parking. She brought this beautiful little Snowshoe kitten to the Sanctuary. The kitten was named Nala and sent immediately to our veterinary clinic on the main island where she was treated for fleas, heart worm and parasites. The vet determined that the leg had been broken and healed improperly, and that amputation was the best solution. While Nala had a rough start in life, she has found her forever home in an historic district in Washington, DC where her name is now Pretty Girl because she is gorgeous. She is the only animal in the house and even has her own room full of toys! This sweet tripod runs around the house and manages the stairs very well. She is being spoilt rotten.
